Daming Palace National Heritage Park

Located in Taihua South Road of Xi’an, Daming Palace National Heritage Park was constructed in the 8th year under the rule of Emperor Taizong of Tang and destroyed in the end of Tang Dynasty. With an area of 3.2 square meters, it once was the most magnificent palace groups in the Tang Dynasty and the biggest palace group in the world at that time.

 

The Site of Chang’an City of Han Dynasty

The Site of Chang’an City of Han Dynasty is the ruins of the capital during the Western Han Dynasty. It is located in the Weiyang District of Xi’an. With an area of about 36 square meters, street layout in the city conforms to the statement of “8 streets and 9 fields”, wide and orderly arranged.

 

Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum

Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum is located in Lintong District of Xi’an. It is a museum constituted by Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses and the Emperor Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum Site Park. The museum mainly displays cultural relics like Terra-cotta Figures of Qin Dynasty and terracotta figurines and horses as well.

 

Yongning Gate

Yongning Gate is in the south of fortification of Xi’an. Established in the early Sui Dynasty, it is the oldest and longest gate among gates of Xi’an.

 

Xi'an Jiaotong University and the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda

Xi'an Jiaotong University

Xi'an Jiaotong University is one of the institutions of higher education which were first founded and a comprehensive research university.

What the satellite shot is the Yanta campus of Xi'an Jiaotong University. The campus is close to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, and in the neighborhood, there is a well-known commercial district of Xi’an.


The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda

Located in Da Ci’en Temple of Yanta District, the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda is the earliest and biggest square pavilion brick tower of the Tang Dynasty and a symbolic building which gathers wisdom of laboring people in the ancient China.


Qujiang International Convention & Exhibition Center

Qujiang International Convention & Exhibition Center is located in the intersection of Third Ring Road in Chang’an South Road, Xi’an. Covering an area of 130,000 square meters, the indoor exhibition area has 26,000 square meters with hotels, commercial office buildings, catering, gym, and experience center, forming the Xi’an exhibition economic demonstration district.

 

Xi'an Xianyang International Airport

Located in Weicheng District of Xianyang in the northwest of Xi’an, the Xi'an Xianyang International Airport is 25 kilometers away from Xi’an. The airport has two runways and thus can meet taking off and landing of A380 airline with the biggest passenger capacity throughout the whole world.

 

Xi'anbei Railway Station

Located in Weiyang District of Xi’an, Xi'anbei Railway Station is one of the most important and biggest passenger stations in the northeast region.

The design philosophy of Xi'an North Railway Station is “style of Tang and Han Dynasty”, and it centers on gray and white, reflecting the style and features of the ancient city.
