Located in the south-central province of Saskatchewan, Regina is one of Canada's two major industrial cities, which mainly include oil refining, machinery manufacturing, agricultural machinery equipment, metal processing, chemical industry and food industry. Regina, with its beautiful scenery and numerous historical sites, is a comprehensive city integrating industry, agriculture, chemical industry, furniture manufacturing and commerce. It used to be a place for hunting bison.

The Mosaic stadium, an outdoor stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan, was announced on 12 July 2012 to replace the old Mosaic stadium at Taylor field as the home of the Canadian football league's Saskatchewan cross-country team. The stadium is owned by the city of Regina and operated by Regina exhibition association LTD.
